Kate Pratt Theobald’s sports sponsorship and marketing career has taken her from the preeminent event in horse racing (Breeders’ Cup) to Major League Baseball’s most valuable team (New York Yankees) to the world’s most famous arena (Madison Square Garden).
Today, she leads partnership sales in the Americas for Liverpool Football Club at Fenway Sports Management after joining the organization in 2019.
During her time with the Reds, which were named the most popular Premier League side in the U.S. by Morning Consult in August, Liverpool has partnered with a number of well-known brands, including Expedia, Monster Energy, Vista, Sonos, SC Johnson and Wasabi Technologies. In fact, under Pratt Theobald, the team has more than doubled the number of U.S.-based sponsors in its portfolio.
“Kate, along with her team, has put a pin on the map for LFC in the Americas,” LFC Commercial Director Ben Latty said. “She’s flying the flag for LFC and promoting the unique positioning we have as a sports and entertainment platform. As a result, she’s experiencing huge success, which is helping support our sustainable business model.”
Pratt Theobald called her first trip to Anfield her most memorable sporting event.
